IT’S ABOUT COMFORT, CONNECTION, AND JOY 
Carl’s Comforts crafts classic creations that evoke memories and birth moments of timeless joy.  

 

After baking for parties and friends for years, Carl Lee, Owner and Chief Comfort Officer, decided now is a great time to launch Carl’s Comforts. In these times of noise and negativity, Carl hopes to bring a new brand of comfort and something positive to Northern Virginia – to his life and the lives of his neighbors. Carl also wants to support his community, so a portion of each sale will be donated to a local food charity.

 

Carl has lived in the DC Metro area for 20 years; prior to that, he grew up in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle (Shepherdstown). Carl earned a BS in communications and political science, and two master’s degrees in journalism and government information leadership. He works as a Senior IT Program Manager and previously spent a decade as an adjunct professor of mass communication at two universities.
